A Story To Our Journey
Arewa Spelling Bee
Inception and Early Success: The inaugural Arewa Spelling Bee, held
in 2017, was a self-funded initiative that attracted over 150
participants and drew an audience of more than 900 spectators. This
initial event set the stage for future successes.
Impact: The Arewa Spelling Bee has significantly influenced schools to emphasize recreational activities that enhance students' confidence and interactive skills. Over the years, the competition has encouraged greater focus on such developmental activities within educational institutions.
Partnerships: Through dedicated efforts, we have secured numerous partnerships to support and expand the Arewa Spelling Bee. Notable sponsors include Connect US, Nestle Milo, 7up Bottling Company, Techno Mobile, Airtel Communications, Itel Mobile, Elera Allied, and VAWIF.

Youth Boot Camps
In 2021 and 2022,
BrainyBrainers Solution organized boot
camps for over 300 youths, providing
capacity building and mentorship in digital
skills and soft skills, including peer
pressure management and emotional
intelligence. These boot camps lasted for
two weeks each and were instrumental in
developing the participants' skills and
confidence.
Women Empowerment
In 2022, the organization partnered with MATA, a
women and girls-led group, to conduct economic empowerment programs
for underprivileged girls and women. The initiative included focus group
discussions, skills training for business startups, and financial discipline
workshops.
In 2023, the partnership continued with career fairs and trade fairs,
empowering over 1,000 women and girls in two years.
Reading Hub/Library
In 2022,
BrainyBrainers Solution secured a $4,999
grant from World Connect US to establish
an ultra-modern reading hub/library in
Kano State. The hub organizes reading
competitions, arts and crafts lessons, and
summer learning programs to further the
organization's goals of boosting youth
confidence and self-awareness.
